Help with a Constitution
Community groups, voluntary organisations, social enterprises and schools that are based and provide services within the Region can register and make requests on the website.
Organisations wishing to register need to have a Constitution
With the exception of schools run by the local authority, organisations wishing to register must provide their Constitution or other governing document.
A constitution or formal governing document sets out in writing the aims of your organisation, how it will be run and how the members will work together.
This needs to be uploaded as part of your Registration. Guidance is available on how to upload the Constitution document.
If your group does not have a constitution or governing document you can get help with developing this by contacting your local Third Sector Interface (TSI) who may also be able to offer other support to develop your organisation.
Each council area has a dedicated TSI which has a role to support, help and build the capacity of third sector organisations in their area.
Contact details for the TSI in each of the council areas in Glasgow City Region are as follows:
East Dunbartonshire Voluntary Action: Info@edva.org
East Renfrewshire Voluntary Action: Hello@va-er.org.uk
Glasgow CVS: sectordev@gcvs.org.uk

North Lanarkshire: info@vanl.co.uk
Engage Renfrewshire: info@engagerenfrewshire.com
South Lanarkshire: office@vaslan.org.uk

If you decide that adopting a Constitution is not for you, you may also be able to get support to register without a Constitution through your local TSI. You can find out more by getting in touch using the contact details above.
